Morgan’s Yearbook has a circulation of around 5500 copies, including some 600 that are purchased by clubs and event organisers for distribution to their members.
More than 1000 events are publicised in the yearbook, covering an area north of a line between Aberystwyth in central Wales to The Wash in East Anglia, all the way to the Shetland Islands and counties in between. Events from the publication date of early February through to the following January are included. After publication, any additional events or changes to published events will be listed in the Event Updates section of this website if and when notified to us by their organisers.
Most buyers of Morgan’s Yearbook are enthusiasts, whether their main interest be steam, veteran, vintage or classic cars, commercials, motorcycles, tractors, buses, stationary engines, railways or aircraft. Other purchasers include event organisers, traders, museums and various institutions; many of them also take display advertising, knowing that it will reach thousands of enthusiasts.
Morgan’s Yearbook is a well‑established publication produced by a group of volunteer members and associates of Burnley Rotary Club. Most of the time spent on production and distribution is at no cost, so allowing us to maximise the support we can give to charitable causes locally, nationally and internationally.
Rotary is a worldwide organisation of over 1.2 million business, professional and community leaders in 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries providing humanitarian services, encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations, and helping to build goodwill and peace in the world.
Winston Churchill once declared: “Few there are who do not recognise the good work which is done by Rotary Clubs throughout the free world” and the same is true today.
Rotary continually works to meet society’s changing needs, expanding its service efforts to address such pressing issues as disaster relief, environmental degradation, illiteracy, world hunger, children at risk, and many more besides.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our subscribers who support Morgan’s Yearbook and those that make additional voluntary donations for the many charitable causes we support.
Over the last 15 years, some of the many causes supported include: Age Concern, Great North & Yorkshire Air Ambulances, Meningitis Trust, Ocean Youth Trust, Yorkshire Cancer Research, emergency and shelter boxes for world disasters, ‘clean water’ projects in Africa, education projects for children and the poor in South America and Africa, Samaritans, Women’s Refuge, riding for the disabled, local education initiatives and many, many more.
